Last year during awards season I created this photo booth backdrop for Postmark and then got so busy I never got a chance to share it. Since we’re in the thick of awards season here in LA (I can’t wait to tell you all about the W Magazine + Cadillac Golden Globes party I attended at Chateau Marmont the other night — and who I saw!) and the Oscars will be here before we know it, I figured better late than never, right?
Read on to see how to make this photo booth backdrop for your Oscars viewing party.

Here’s how to make an Oscar party photo booth backdrop:
– Print out (or photocopy) Old Hollywood photos onto 8 x 11 paper (I used photos from Oscars ceremonies from Hollywood’s heyday that I found online).Tip: It’s best to use landscape-oriented photos. I used 30 printouts, 5 across, 6 down, but feel free to make larger if you’d like and have the wall space, Daddy Warbucks.
– Tape photos together on the back.
– Hang on wall with tape, pins or tacks and prepare to strike a pose and accept your award for Best Oscar Party Decor!
