One of the highlights of our trip to Texas was meeting my new sister, Daisy Golightly. 

Otherwise known as my parents’ new puppy! Kaylee Golightly was so excited to introduce her to us, she brought her to the airport, where she was nuzzled snuggly with Kaylee in her car seat.

She’s such a fun, sweet little puppy, sprightly in the mornings and then unusually docile later in the day as Kaylee puts a baby diaper on her, dresses her in old baby clothes and then pushes Daisy around in a baby stroller. Of course, before she presents Daisy and her ensemble to the room, she bellows out: “Preseeennnnting…Daisy Golightly!”

Luckily, Daisy is very patient and doesn’t make a peep. Kaylee is definitely the alpha-dog!

We couldn’t resist a little photo shoot to introduce Daisy here on the blog.

But seeing as this is Texas, we were photobombed by a cowboy, ya’ll!

Okay, the cowboy might just be Kaylee Golightly’s daddy…but still!
