Hello, my loves! We are back in California and it feels so good to be home. Our time away was a roller coaster, filled with both incredible moments and opportunities, as well as heartbreaking news as well, including the tragedy in Connecticut. There simply are no words.

As the year draws to a close, I can’t help but think of how lucky I am for all the blessings I’ve been given, a loving and supportive husband who is my best friend, a family who always makes me laugh and feel wanted, a second family who goes against every in-law stereotype I’ve ever seen on TV, friends and colleagues who are kind, creative and inspiring, each and every one of you who help to create this community I am so thankful to be a part of and, of course, the sweetest and most hilarious niece in the world, who I can’t wait to hug come Friday.

Just wanted to take a moment to savor the beauty of the moment, knowing that at any moment things can change. Sending love and hugs to you all today, and always.
