Yellow made a surprising yet satisfying appearance on the runways, appearing on everything from tops to dresses and jackets.

The sunny hue added a perfect splash of color and mod cheer to a dark, moody fall color palette and felt so fresh and spot-on for the season.

Some designers referred to it as saffron, sunflower yellow, gold or even citron, but regardless of what you call it, be sure to buy something in the yellow family this fall.
