[Damia satchel by Annie Handbags; Ninewest heels; Foley + Corinna dress via Shopbop; GAP jacket]
It’s hard for a bag to steal my heart, but this toasted caramel Damia satchel by Chicago-based Annie Handbags did just that. It’s become my constant companion at all of these events and parties I’ve been privy to attend as of late. Why?
Well, in addition to her go-with-anything camel hue, her deceptively large size had me at adjustable long strap. A girl needs to be able to be hands-free while fitting all of life’s essentials (or are they just a blogger’s essentials?): wallet, iPad, camera, iPhone, keys, lipgloss, Flats to Go so you can swap your killer stilettos for comfy flats at the end of the evening when the throbbing sets in. This bag holds it all — even five-inch heels.
And I love its versatility. Carry it by the shorter handles as a handbag, or use the removable adjustable crossbody strap when you want to be hands-free for hobnobbing and cupcake-imbibing. The two hidden front pockets are perfect for your phone and business cards, without you having to dig to China. Wear the Damia satchel with heels and a fancy schmancy frock or with jeans and a tee. Like a best friend, you can take her anywhere. Plus, she feels like buttah, an immeasurable bonus when she’s by your side all day and all night. Fancy her too? Check her out, along with the entire collection, at Annie Handbags.
