Hello from New York, my loves! I must apologize for being MIA for a few days — New York Fashion Week has been a complete whirlwind. We arrived last Thursday at 3am and it’s been non-stop ever since. I thought I’d get back into the swing of things by sharing my New York Fashion Week diary with you, starting with what I wore for Day 1 to the BCBG show.
Read on for full photos and outfit details…
The lovely folks at BCBG offered to dress me for the occasion (still pinching myself!) and the moment I saw this ruffly peach confection, I knew it was the one.
To add a little edge to the girliness of the skirt, I opted for this sporty perforated faux-suede jacket from BCBG.
In lieu of a solid black or white tank which could easily work as well, I desired a little pop of pattern so added this Kelly Wearstler tank to the mix.
The pop of pattern and blue was just what I needed.
Powder blue pumps, a roomy camel bag to tote my camera and all of my essentials, plus a little arm and ear candy and I was ready for Fashion Week adventures!
No pictures, please!
Kidding, snap away!
I went with a pop of orange on my nails and lips…
Here I am with my Fashion Week partner in crime Sydne Summer, also in BCBG. Check out Sydne Style for details.
I’ll be bringing you behind-the-scenes action from backstage and the front row so stay tuned xx!
