Last week we talked New York Fashion Week favorites. Yesterday we obsessed over our favorite British export since Kate Moss, The Cambridge Satchel Company. And today, today we hop across the pond again to highlight our London Fashion Week favorites! Let’s start with Holly Fulton who, once again, stands out with her original, graphic, bold prints and a fun color palette of jewel-toned yellow, black and white. Do you love Holly Fulton too?
New York Fashion Week served up plenty of sherbert and neon hues and London was just as colorful, albeit in a less glowstick way. I loved these tomboy-chic looks (and hats!) from Paul Smith. (How cute is that first look with the yellow skirt?)
Speaking of hats and looks I can’t get enough of, I adore these sweet-chic Jaeger London looks, complete with bows and scallops. (That flat-top hat will be the hat to have come spring. I believe they’re called Cordobés Spanish-style hats…)
I also love the fun triangle cut-outs and easy elegance of it all. What do you think? Do you like these looks?
Erdem is always playful and cool, so very ladylike meets downtown, and so Alexa Chung. Their floral prints had me at hello, lady. House of Holland is always full of surprises, but what surprised me most is how much I want these pants. I smell a DIY…
Since we were served so many sherbert hues on the New York runways, it’s only fitting to see a little creamsicle pop up in London. Mulberry’s sheer and shimmery ethereal touches were such a delight.
Stunning. That’s how I felt when I saw these Gatsby-meets-Grey Gardens gowns float down the Temperley runway. Vintage-inspired yet totally modern and beyond glamorous in an understated way, the peachy hues and blues were gah-gah-gorge…
As were Temperley’s out-of-this-world whites. The detailing is outrageous yet so refined. I can’t wait to see these looks pop up on the red carpet. Which celebrity do you think will wear them? (I predict Cate Blanchett in the first dress on the left and Charlize Theron or Jaime King to don the dress on the right).
Finally, these romantic and totally wearable frocks from Sienna Mille’rs twenty8twelve line had me gasping, as did those red lips. Hot…tamale.
That wraps up my faves from London Fashion Week, but now the big question: Which designers took your breath away?
