Thank goodness it’s Friday! I got back from Texas to Palm Springs late last night — after sitting next to this guy on the flight (despite the characters he plays, he was super nice and we bonded over having lived in New York, an appreciation for great barbecue, and our shared love of Palm Springs). I had the best time in Texas and look forward to sharing highlights, but am so happy to be home. Fred Baby arrived a few hours before me from New York and as we embraced at the airport, “Reunited and it feels so good” played. Kidding! But it’s always nice to be home.
What are you up to this weekend? I’m SO excited to be meeting up with Beth Jones and Devon Rachel for a whirlwind weekend of vintage shopping in Palm Springs! The lovely folks at JustFab (yes, Kimora’s site!) heard about our treasure-hunting plans and generously came on board to sponsor our trip (how fab indeed!). I love mixing vintage with modern finds and JustFab is a great spot to score trendy new pieces without breaking the bank, so it’s great to team up. If you haven’t checked them out yet, take a peek here.
We’ll be sharing all the finds and deets on our blogs and on JustFab, but for sneak peeks be sure to follow along on our #JustFabRoadTrip on Instagram and Twitter this weekend. One of the questions I get over and over again is what are the best places to shop at in Palm Springs for vintage home decor and clothing, so I’m excited to finally be sharing these gems.
Wishing you a weekend full of adventures and treasures… TGIF (thank goodness it’s fab!).
p.s. Since I’ll be happily sandwiched between the leggy, flaxen-haired loviles Beth and Devon, should we film a series called Between Two Blondes (a la Zach Galifianakis’ Between Two Ferns)? Why do I do this to myself? You better believe I’ll have on high wedges for our #JustFabRoadTrip!
