Love this Palm Springs house by Thomboy Properties. #psiloveyourhouse Photo: Fred Moser

How are you holding up? I felt like I was doing well this week and then woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. I was in the middle of a dream when I woke up, but can’t remember what the dream was. I don’t know about you, but unless a dream gets resolved, it tends to throw me off for the whole day.

Maybe it’s that, maybe it’s hormones, maybe it’s some sad family stuff going on right now, maybe it’s the #metoo stuff dredging up memories and a collective sadness for everyone, but I feel a major case of the mean reds.

So I’ve decided to get my weekend links up today and take tomorrow off. Because I really need to focus on mental wellness. Unless I get into my Miracle Morning routine again and set aside some real time for it, it’s never going to happen.

But I’m looking back to this shoot with the Aqualillies as a reminder that there are rainbows even when there are clouds.

Plus, the Modernism Week Fall Preview is this weekend and I’d like to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy it. These pictures by Fred Baby are of one of the featured houses by Thomboy and it’s bananas. You can get tickets to see it in person here. Hope to see you there!

It’s also my Mom’s birthday on Saturday. Happy early birthday Mamala! I love you so much.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend + here are some weekend links xo.

Champagne problems. Literally.

My good friends, Dee Murphy and Sarah Sherman Samuel, who designed rooms for the show house in Villa Golightly (see Dee’s Soaking Room and Sarah’s Guest Suite) are nominated by Domino Magazine for Design Blog Awards! They’re in the same category (find them under Interior Design Professionals), but I figure if we vote for both of them, then they can both win in a tie . 😉

On Kelly Golightly this week:

How to style a pink couch + have you entered the Sole Society x Joybird giveaway?
