Help Us Design Our Sprinter Van Conversion! Here's Our Mood Board...

Exciting news! We are full steam ahead on getting Sally Tomato all gussied up and ready for his close-up! We have a drop-off date of September 17th in Denver and a pick-up date of October 15th. That is SO soon and SO fast! While we’re thrilled we’ll be able to ride Sally ride much sooner than expected, it also means we need to make interior design decisions MUCH faster. Will you help us? Here’s our mood board…

Tiffany Blue Door Palm Springs | Kelly Golightly

Sprinter Van Interior Design

As you can see, we want light, white, bright and airy with touches of “Golightly blue.” What is Golightly blue? The same color blue you see in the Kelly Golightly logo at the top of this page. Almost Tiffany blue, but not exactly.

Beautiful Outdoor Spaces: Kelly Golightly's Terrace

If you look at my Instagram lately, I’m clearly inspired by this color palette of blue and white, such as with the door in the above photo and our terrace here (designed by Christopher Kennedy). It’s a classic combo we won’t tire of either.

Sex And The City Style | Kelly Golightly

I love this shade of blue because it’s both happy yet calm. Since it’s such a small space, it’s important to keep it simple, bright and light. Would you agree?

There are two #vanlife accounts where we’ve been gleaning the most inspiration…

One is Wild by the Mile. Full van tour here.

40 Hours of Freedom Sprinter Van Conversion

And the other is 40 Hours of Freedom. Full van tour here.

They both have fresh, modern, light and bright interiors. But there are slight differences.

Tiny Space Interior Design: Mercedes Sprinter Van Rendering

Here’s a rendering that Fred Baby mocked up which shows what we are leaning towards, but we would LOVE your input!

Have you ever done a tiny space design or van conversion?

Even if not, we’d love to know what you think would look and feel best!

Please comment below or over on my Instagram xo!

p.s. Fred Baby is thankfully SO good with renderings. Remember this one?
