How did you spend the official first weekend of spring? Here’s what I was up to + my solution for spring transition dressing.

We’ve been going full steam lately so decided to stay put in LA and rest up and catch up a bit. It was so nice to share good meals with friends, unwind in the ‘Bu, and celebrate my spread in Darling Magazine with good friends (the spring issue release party was last night and I can’t wait to share more of that soon!).

But first let’s talk spring transition dressing. Spring, where you want to wear a dress but, let’s face it, it’s just not quite warm enough yet. My solution? Toss on a knit sweater over a dress like I did for Sunday brunch yesterday. It’s easy, comfy and will keep you just the right amount of warm. (Here’s how I winterized the same dress.) I’m also into blush and nude accessories lately. What are you excited about for spring?
