I have HUGE news to share with you today. And no, it’s not a baby…exactly. But for Fred Baby and me it is a baby of sorts. Announcing the birth of…
Kelly & Fred — a creative collaboration between photographer Fred Moser and myself!
Here’s the scoop…
After the honor of being asked to shoot the Poolside Gossip reunion, capturing the reunion at the Kaufmann House of Nelda Linsk and Helen Dzo Dzo Kaptur, the original two ladies from the iconic Slim Aarons photo Poolside Gossip, and then having the photo featured in The New York Times, we were flooded with requests by interested parties wanting to add the photo(s) to their collections.
As a huge Slim Aarons fan myself, I totally get it. I would want one to complete my collection, too. So, Fred Baby and I have been working hard behind the scenes to make that possible. And I’m thrilled to announce that it now is.
The Poolside Reunion series is now available at Just Modern in Palm Springs.
We are thrilled for this new venture and have much more to share coming up, but we wanted you to be the first to know about Kelly & Fred, our new baby. It’s been a labor of love and a true joy to share our work with so many.
If you’re in Palm Springs, please pop by Just Modern at 901 N. Palm Canyon Drive (right next door to Trina Turk). Snap a photo, so we can see! Tag us on Instagram @kellygolightly + @fredbaby13 #kellyandfred and whoever snaps the best photo by May 6, 2015 will win an 11 x 17 limited edition print of Poolside Reunion, a $375 value.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Poolside Reunion series will be donated to Modernism Week, whom we thank for making this all possible.
