Last week I shared glimpses of our living room in this post about our new chandelier, but today I’m excited to share the full room tour. Come along as Odee and I show you around + how to get the look!

As noted previously, Barclay Butera originally designed the living room for the Christopher Kennedy Compound: Modernism Week Show House (aka Villa Golightly), so we were very lucky to have his blueprint to guide us, as well as Barclay Butera’s wallpaper that remains in the room!

He’s also responsible for those custom golden drapes.

You can see how he designed the room here (above) in Traditional Home.

While none of the exact furniture stayed, we were lucky that we already had similar white sofas of our own, which is what you now see here.

We got the Clarke Sectional years ago from Room and Board when we lived in San Francisco. It doesn’t seem to be available, but I’ll link similar styles below.

The smaller white sofa is The Petrie from Crate & Barrel. The rug is from Overstock and the price is so good.

While I love how sophisticated Barclay made the room, I added in pieces we already owned to make it feel more like us (or at least more like me — while Fred Baby tolerates my peacock chairs, he probably wouldn’t choose them on his own!). That said, I think the addition of rattan and wicker pieces in the room help balance out the glam factor.

I do like my gold…

Of course, mixing vintage with new helps too! It’s my favorite combo. This bar cart is a vintage find, but I’ve linked similar bar carts below.

And because two bar carts are better than one, we also have this little golden girl in here too. The chair is from Overstock many moons ago, the sparkle pillow is Jonathan Adler (no longer available), the art leaning against the wall is by Team Woodnote, and the art above the doors is by Kate Spade (tour of our entryway here).

Is a room complete without at least one flamingo? I think not… This gold flamingo is from West Elm but seems to have sold out. This is a cute flamingo option though!

In all honesty, this coffee table needs to be replaced, as there’s a chip out of the top (that is nicely hidden by the books), and one of the legs is no longer properly attached, but the simplicity of it works well here and glossy white is always a good backdrop for some coffee table styling.

Update: A new coffee table is on its way (stay tuned to meet her)!

One thing I love about white couches is that since they’re a blank backdrop, they allow for fun pillow choices!

OKAY, I think that’s it…for now at least. Thanks for coming along with Odee and me on our living room tour!

If you’d like to get the look, I’ve linked similar pieces below (most of our pieces are old and no longer available, like the couches, or vintage, which is why I’m linking to some actual and some similar pieces).

If you have any questions, ask away. 🙂
