oscar viewing party; oscar night highlights

Last night I attended an Oscar viewing party hosted by Bethenny Frankel and Skinnygirl Cocktails at the Andaz in West Hollywood, high above the glittering lights of Sunset Boulevard. Here are the highlights and what I wore.

Wearing: Pants: Sam&Lavi c/o (sold out but I love these & these). Shirt: old but similar. Shoes: Zara (old but similar). Necklace: Sole Society c/o. Photos by Fred Baby.

It was a very intimate party and the dress code called for casual-chic. Music to my ears because it gave me yet another excuse to wear these pajama pants (any excuse to basically wear pajamas in public and this girl is a happy camper). To up the chic factor, I added a silk top and some gold accents, like my favorite golden lion necklace, gold bangles and glittering heels. Honestly, it was raining all weekend and my frizzy hair and I just wanted to be comfy — mission accomplished. Here’s a similar casual-chic option:

We sipped cocktails (my favorite was the new Meyer Lemon Vodka, mixed with fresh lemonade and sparkling water), nibbled on healthy, yummy snacks like ceviche and caprese, and then Miss Kris and I pulled an Ellen by ordering pizza (and french fries) up to the suite (we’re from Texas, that’s how we do!). Aside from being the ones at the party ordering pizza, we also had an impromptu photo shoot hamming it up on the balcony. I’m pretty sure we have a line in our future called Sillygirl Cocktails. Thanks to Bethenny and Skinnygirl for a memorable night and to Fred Baby for indulging us Sillygirls ™.
