New York Fashion Week Fall 2010 Fave: ADAM

New York Fashion Week is officially in full swing and we’ve been playing favorites. A designer we’ve been falling in love with more and more? Adam Lippes of the label ADAM. Always modern and sophisticated, with a fabulous eye for detail, who else can make knee-length shorts (made of sweatpant material, no less) look chic? Are we the only ones looking forward to an excuse to wear comfy (yet cool) looking sweatpants next fall? We’re also digging the leather accents, layers, chunky, metallic-accented knits, playful skirt shapes and the cool neutral palette.

Oh, uh huh, those droopy crotched cuffed midthigh shorts are going to be the new fashion trend because, uh huh, they look GREAT on just about anyone! I’m just sayin’…And a leather crib duvet accessorized with a flannel blanket? Well, I guess that would work well on a bed, but not a body, unless you are escaping from a house fire…
