your life purpose in five minutes; your life purpose in 5 minutes; how to figure out your life purpose

So, what do you do? Lately, I’ve been having to answer this question with increasing frequency. Sometimes it’s hard to put into words what I do and what my vision is for Kelly Golightly, if I’m being honest. I get hung up on certain things, and find myself making things way more complicated than they need to be. Do you have a hard time answering that question too… What do you do?

So when a video popped up, promising to discover your life purpose in five minutes, I couldn’t have pressed play faster.

I’d love if you would watch this video (it’s pretty short) and told me what your life purpose is in the comments below.

I knew Fred Baby’s life purpose almost immediately. He enables success. How? By solving problems. I can’t tell you how many things he has figured out for me alone (how to take great pictures, how to get my blog up and running, technical mumbo jumbo and making Kelly Golightly a reality rather than a mere vision floating around in my head). Of course, he does this in his career every single day as well. And for friends and family when he plays tech support or figures out how to make my parents’ broken AC work on July Fourth when no repairman is working, or shows my friends how to work their cameras so they can get great shots, or how to decompress an audition video for Kaylee to submit to be on a sitcom (details to come on that!), and a billion other things. Solving problems is his jam and it’s not just because he likes figuring out how things work, it’s because he likes helping others be successful in whatever it is they are trying to accomplish.

I joke that we are the perfect pair because while he is a problem solver, I am a problem creator. Lucky him!

It took me a little longer to whittle down my purpose. But in the end, I think I did. I’ll share mine in the comments, where I hope you’ll share yours too. Something seemingly so daunting was quite simple, and I can’t tell you how much easier that has made decision-making. Once you know your purpose, it’s easy to make decisions to achieve your purpose. Getting to your purpose is the key. So, I ask: What is your life purpose?
