Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance; art of italian motoring; lemonade la

My darlings, on Sunday I was so excited to finally be feeling better so that we could attend the Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance, which celebrated “The Art of Italian Motoring” as the country of Italy marked its 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy. There were hundreds of swoon-worthy vintage cars on display, only made better by a stop at Lemonade after to refuel (pardon my pun).

Lately, I have been obsessed with Lemonade’s blood orange lemonade (at the Beverly Blvd. location). Isn’t their branding so cute?

Speaking of cute, I desperately want a vintage Fiat 500.

Any maybe a Picasso or two, but that’s neither here nor there.

At Lemonade, we’ve been indulging in the orecchiette with asparagus, the tomato and avocado salad, cabbage with goat cheese, and Brussels sprouts. I like my food like I like my fashion, colorful!

Proof? I’m rocking pink jeans by ASOS with a neon pink J.Crew top, and my favorite straw sunglasses hat from Kate Spade that sweet Helen of What Helen Wore Today gave me for my birthday (she has the same one and looks so cute in it picking cherries!). My Old Navy straw tote was also a birthday present from my friend Jenny of the Jesus Year Project, from like 10 years ago! I still love it. And I’m so lucky to have the kindest and most stylish friends.

Do you also want a vintage car? The Hubs thinks my inability to drive a manual could get in the way. And he’s not so keen on the safety features, or lack there of. Details… Pish, posh. That’s what the helmet’s for, right?

If all else fails, we could just have one as a sculpture in, say, our living room. This reminds me so much of Merci in Paris! I digress. It was a really fun show, thank you for coming along for the ride!
