Golden Globes Trend: Ruffles

Go big or go home seemed to be the mantra of new kid on the block and Up in the Air star Anna Kendrick, who surely ruffled some fashionista feathers in her Marchesa gown. The glorious Diana Kruger of Inglorious Basterds literally popped off of the red carpet in hot pink Christian Lacroix Haute Couture, which featured a slightly wavy, ruffly neckline. Proving that ruffles can can be worn head to toe and not add weight to your frame? House star Jennifer Morrison, who dazzled in a feminine frock by Puerto Rican designer Luis Antonio. Don’t you love that her dress was a gift from her boyfriend? Many more of Hollywood’s leading ladies chose ruffles too, including Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks and Big Love’s Chloe Sevigny.
