I’m not sure what it is about New York Fashion Week, but it seems each time I like to debut a pantsuit for the occasion (remember this one?).
Maybe it’s the slightly androgynous feel, or maybe it’s just fun to wear something a little unexpected, but I love a good pantsuit.
(Watch out, Hillary! BTW, Google pantsuit and look what comes up…Hillary’s twitter, ha!).
I borrowed this Paul & Joe suit for Fashion Week and the pants ended up being a size too big. But I loved it so much, I just rolled up the bottoms and rolled down the waist (remember that trick from high school to make your skirts shorter?). Make it werk!
As for the rest of these photos, ShopStyle held an event on this amazing New York City rooftop, where you could also book a photo session with street style photographer superstar Craig Arend of Altamira NYC, who also shoots for The New York Times.
A lot of the girls were climbing up on the ledge to get killer shots with the city skyline in the background, but I was partial to this peacock chair (duh!). That, and I wasn’t in the mood to plummet to my death.
