You may have noticed a little something in the New York Times today. And by little, I mean epic. Welcome, NYT readers!
I’ve always said it was my life goal to live in a Slim Aarons photo — I just can’t believe it actually happened. Yes, that’s me in the top photo above, serendipitously strolling by the pool, photographed by Fred Baby.
I’m beyond thrilled to finally be able to share the most exciting highlight of 2014 with you — the feature Fred Baby and I created for Desert Magazine!
Happy Monday and Happy Thanksgiving Week! How was your weekend? You may have seen on Instagram (or your mailboxes) that my weekend came with some VERY major news. Continue reading
How was your weekend? We spent ours in Palm Springs mostly working and lamenting how life has become one giant to-do list. Being an adult is a bummer sometimes, isn’t it? Fall always makes me want to nest. You too? Here are a few small vignettes around our apartment that I snapped today that are making me smile. It’s really the little things, isn’t it?

Audrey, my new Prada glasses I couldn’t resist getting after hosting an event at ILORI, on a favorite cake plate (that I just knocked off of the table and broke as I typed this — thankfully there are more at World Market — oy!) and a lion-adorned clutch from Nila Anthony that came as a surprise in the mail yesterday (and which I will probably accidentally spill red wine on tonight).
This little piggy…and some lovely handwritten notes I received this week.
Snail mail is the best, isn’t it?
Do you have any favorite little vignettes, moments or pieces around your house that make you smile?
