How was your weekend? We spent ours in Palm Springs mostly working and lamenting how life has become one giant to-do list. Being an adult is a bummer sometimes, isn’t it? Oh well, at least we got out to play for a little bit when we went to pick up this guy from Trina Turk. Becoming a parent is one of the plusses of becoming an adult, right? And I couldn’t be happier to welcome Harry Elephante, Jr. to the family.

Fall always makes me want to nest. You too? Here are a few small vignettes around our apartment that I snapped today that are making me smile. It’s really the little things, isn’t it?

Striped straws make any drink more fun, don’t you think, even if they do get soggy.

Audrey, my new Prada glasses I couldn’t resist getting after hosting an event at ILORI, on a favorite cake plate (that I just knocked off of the table and broke as I typed this — thankfully there are more at World Market — oy!) and a lion-adorned clutch from Nila Anthony that came as a surprise in the mail yesterday (and which I will probably accidentally spill red wine on tonight).
